All indications has emerged that the battle for influence, power and supremacy between the former Edo State Governor and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomole and the incumbent governor of Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki has finally come to an end.
The two politicians had an elaborate meeting that last through the night on Monday at Oshiomoleh’s Iyamoh residence in Etsako West Local Government Area of the state where peace was brokered.
Adams Oshiomoleh however blamed the media for creating factions and friction between himself and the governor Obaseki for cheap gains., adding that the fight was a creation of people with personal interest even as he described Obaseki as his brother.
Governor Obaseki who had earlier attended the 80th birthday ceremony of Chief Odigie Oyegun, a former National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress hurriedly left to honor the meeting with his predecessor.
