Rape Allegation: protesters tells Fatoyinbo to step down

The crisis rocking the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly took a new dimension today as protesters took to the streets of Abuja and Lagos demanding that the man in the middle of the storm, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo should step down as head of the church in the wake of rape allegations against him.

Today being Sunday, it is expected that church services be held in most locations nationwide.

It was however a new twist all together when as at 8 am this morning, protesters gathered at major location leading to the church headquarters in a peace march protest, with the use of public address gadgets, they registered their displeasure as they protested and demanded that the man of God steps down to save the church’s image in the face of a rape allegation level against him.

The celebrity pastor was accused of rape by a former member of his church Busola Dakolo

Meanwhile, security has been intensified around the church with checks conducted on worshipers.
